These huge lilies are walking distance from our lake house. They don’t look big here, but they were 1-2+ feet in size.

Out on our Lake
One of our new neighbors invited us to go out on their floating dock today. It was so relaxing to float around the lake. We look forward to going spending more time on the lake in the years ahead.
Happy Birthday Bob!
It was Bob’s birthday today so we went out and enjoyed some Ethiopia food. The space shuttle also had it’s final launch today.
Open Up the Wall
We got the glue lam up today. It was really heavy getting into place with just the two of us. q qq
Homemade Gelato
We churned some homemade gelato in our DeLonghi machine. We used fresh backberries (that I picked on Thursday), Greek yogurt (0% fat) and organic sugar (for sweetner). I was really good, but I should have strained the backberries to get rid of the seeds. It’s a nice festive color for the July 4th holiday weekend.
Cat Nap
The arm of the sofa is our cat favorite place for napping. He’s never fallen off yet!
