My name is Suzanne Thompson. I enjoy photography, dining at non-chain restaurants, trying new vegetarian recipes, reading, blogging, and exploring new locations...the three most valuable are family, faith, and friends.

I was born in England, moved to Ethiopia when I was four, then to America when I was seven. In American, I have lived in eight states. Bob and I were married in January 2010 and we currently live in California and North Carolina.

Today, I was a second shooter for a backyard wedding next to a golf course with Shane Thompson. The touching ceremony was performed by Pastor Adrian Pressley of the Campus Hill Church in Loma Linda and musical selections were performed by gifted family members. All the family worked together to design flowers, decorate the backyard for the ceremony and reception, and to cook some Jamaican specialties to add a family touch. The reception was hosted by Creative Events by Glenn. It’s always a surprise to go to a wedding, be chatting with guests a realize that you know several of the same people. That’s what happened today…what a small world!
