Bob and I have been having a great time WPPI. We’ve enjoyed meeting new people and visiting with friends. We’ve gone to several presentations and have been enjoying everything there is to learn. Today, we became proud new owners of a Canon 5D Mark II and 50mm f1.2 lens. We had talked about getting them later this year, but as we got a good deal, we purchased them.
This evening, I tried the equipment at the night shoot led by [b]ecker and Joe Photo. It was very cold and the forecast called for 60 mph winds. I’m sure that our models were frozen, but they didn’t complain. Joe Photo took pictures of everyone in the group and lay on the ground to get the photos. What dedication!
So, while some of us were taking pictures…

On our way back to our hotel, I took this picture with the new camera and lens…no tripod!
