In England (during the middle ages), servants were required to work Christmas Day, so they got off the day after Christmas. The lords and ladies gave the “Christmas boxes” (gifts) to the servants to take home to their families. My “Christmas Box” today was the cupcakes I made to take to the church lunch. I was going to pipe the frosting on, but the chunks of oreo cookies in the frosting kept getting stuck, so I just had to put it on with a spoon. But they tasted good!
And here’s a picture of the beautiful sunrise this morning.
Later in the day, Bob and I walked along the CA aquaduct. The sunset was pretty too.
