My name is Suzanne Thompson. I enjoy photography, dining at non-chain restaurants, trying new vegetarian recipes, reading, blogging, and exploring new locations...the three most valuable are family, faith, and friends.
I was born in England, moved to Ethiopia when I was four, then to America when I was seven. In American, I have lived in eight states. Bob and I were married in January 2010 and we currently live in California and North Carolina.

Today I had the privilege of taking some pictures of a one week old baby boy. He was such a good little baby and was very curious with what was going on.
It’s amazine how good this rose still looks. On the 14th, it traveled 2,500 miles across country on a plane and now is several days old.
We drove to Griffith Observatory. We were going to take the scenic back road through the mountains, but the road was closed to a bridge that had washed away. In the evening, Bob treated me to an Ethiopian Restaurant. The food was really good. We had a sampler platter.
For Church, we drove down to Crosswalks. Bob had watched it on the internet (a couple times while I was in attendance), so now he was able to go there and see it.
The day after my birthday, Bob and I hiked part way up Mt Whitney to Lone Pine Lake (about three miles). The scenery was beautiful. What a great way to spend the day. Last year, I started up the hill, but at the second creek crossing, decided to turn around. I only received my camera...
For my birthday, I received a lovely bouquet of flowers. For dinner, I was taken to the Farm Artisan Foods Restaurant in Redlands for a great meal. Their ingredients are locally grown, with organic being their first choice. For dessert, I was treated to a special chef request of strawberry shortcake with fresh whipping cream....
