My name is Suzanne Thompson. I enjoy photography, dining at non-chain restaurants, trying new vegetarian recipes, reading, blogging, and exploring new locations...the three most valuable are family, faith, and friends.
I was born in England, moved to Ethiopia when I was four, then to America when I was seven. In American, I have lived in eight states. Bob and I were married in January 2010 and we currently live in California and North Carolina.

Bob found this baby praying mantas and showed it to me.

So excited that the new Canon fisheye lens arrived today from Adorama just in time for our Alaska cruise.

I surprised Bob by trying to make one of our favorite Ethiopian dishes. It actually turned out really good, but the injera still needs some work!

These huge lilies are walking distance from our lake house. They don’t look big here, but they were 1-2+ feet in size.

One of our new neighbors invited us to go out on their floating dock today. It was so relaxing to float around the lake. We look forward to going spending more time on the lake in the years ahead.

It was Bob’s birthday today so we went out and enjoyed some Ethiopia food.

The space shuttle also had it’s final launch today.
